Planetary periods help describe which parts of a chart are ripening at a particular time. They can explain why a familiar life suddenly feels different, or why one subject begins to demand sustained attention.
A period is never interpreted from the planet alone. Its sign, house, dignity, relationships, and role in the complete chart all matter. Transits then add a second timing layer that can activate or shape the underlying period.
